Baron Zemo, who is played by Daniel Bruhl, is reported to be one of the roots of the events that are going to take place in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War."
According to Cinema Blend, Zemo could be working hand in hand with Crossbones in a nasty plot, which will lead to the release of the superhero registration act. While he has the desire to help the world from over powered beings like the Avengers, it is assumed that Zemo has his own spiteful plans and one of them is to avenge his father's death.
Zemo is important in the Russos forthcoming "Captain America: Civil War," since he puts an impact on Bucky Barnes, as per Movie Pilot. The character is resentful of Barnes, Captain America's friend and the Winter Soldier, a reason why Zemo abducted him and had him do illegal acts.
While the enemies of the star-spangled Avenger have been linked with HYDRA in previous "Captain America" films, it is still uncertain if Zemo will also be an affiliate of the aforementioned organization.
"Captain America: Civil War" follows the release of the superhero registration act or the "accords," which leads to a break up and fight between the Captain America, who is not in favor with the law, and Iron Man, who is in favor of the act.
Directed by the Russos, "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016 while Watts' "Spider-Man" is set to hit theaters on July 28, 2017.
