Barry's Bootcamp famed star trainer Derek DeGrazio recently unveiled some tips on post summer weight loss. His advice targets those who feel passive to work out during the busy fall schedules and gain that unwanted flab in the process.
According to experts, keeping one's body busy in some kind of activity all year round, or even dusting the house may help lose some flab. Derek, who trains the likes of Adriana Lima and Ellie Goulding, shares some post summer weight loss tips with People.
Get it Moving
Resting the fanny while at a desk job may be a comforting idea, but not so healthy for that increasing weight. So make an effort to take a walk down the hallway for some blood circulation, or just try a sitting posture resting your back against the wall. Stay in the position for a minute and then relax.
Walk the Dog
Pet or no pet, just fake it that there's one and just as a dog owner would do, get moving at the break of the day. Gift a healthy life to one's self and the feel good factor by going for a walk each morning, just as one would do with his dog.
No Excuses to Fitness
Success means no excuses be it in the profession or in the daily fitness routine. So make friends with that gym bag and leave it under the office table, car or wherever it reminds of that fitness session.
Befriend Stairs
Stairs can be best friends for life if one is serious about shedding those pounds. It is not only the easiest way to lose weight, but taking two steps at a time can also tone and strengthen one's legs.
Take a Break
Make use of that commercial break on television and fit in the usual planks and side planks in that 3-4 minutes gap. Get a short a break in between the movements, and stay in the position for not more than a minute.
