Motorola's new smartwatch, Moto 360 2015, is quite similar to the original Motorola smartwatch, but sports interesting changes to capture the interest of more customers.
The 2nd gen smartwatch comes in a collection for both men and women, according to iDigital Times. The men's model sports a 46 x 11 mm watch face and a 1.56 inch LCD which includes a back lit LCD display along with a 400mAh battery. The men's model is also available in a 42-mm version.
The women's model sports a sleeker 42 x 11.4 mm watch face and a 1.37 inch LCD which includes a back lit LCD display along with a 300 mAh battery.
The latest in this collection is the Moto 360 Sport 2015 model, which sports a silicone band, specially designed to keep the sweat at bay. The Moto 360 Sport 2015 model also includes a built in GPS tracker along with a heart rate sensor. The sensors also include a gyroscope, an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, an optical heart rate monitor, and also a vibration/haptics engine. The connectivity includes an 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and a 4.0 LE Bluetooth.
The new Moto 360 2015 is also a customizable gadget. Moto Maker design studio has launched the choices of colors, bezels, materials, and also a double wrap band for users to mix and match according to their own choice. Customizing the watch is also a very easy task.
The watch is further equipped with a 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage capacity. It is powered through a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The watch is also dust proof and water proof.
The Moto 360 2015 runs on the Android Wear and also supports the Apple devices, according to Android Pit.
