Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date is in October and will most likely hit the market the next month and will most likely butt heads with Lenovo Ideapad MIIX 700.
Lenovo will also release a laplet that will hit the market in the coming months. It will gun for Microsoft's follow-up to Surface Pro 3.

Screen Display
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will reportedly pack 12-inch screen panel, although some reports claimed that Microsoft may come with larger screen variant of the popular laptop-tablet hybrid. Both devices may sport 2K pixel resolution. Lenovo Ideapad MIIX 700 sports a 12-inch Full HD screen display.
Processor
It is still unconfirmed whether the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 are rumored to be updated and will run with Intel's Broadwell or Skylake processor, but Lenovo already confirmed that Ideapad MIIX 700 is powered by Skylake CPU. This will give the device better and faster processing power.
Storage
Lenovo Ideapad MIIX 700 offers up to 256 GB storage system, while the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is rumored to offer 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage variants.
Operating System
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will arrive with Windows 10 operating system that will incur great changes in the interface. Lenovo Ideapad MIIX 700 also runs with the new Windows 10 OS.
Battery Life
One of the major concerns is the battery life of the device. Rumors claimed that Microsoft Surface Pro devices will have longer battery life in comparison with their predecessors due to the new power-hogging features to be included in the device. Lenovo's convertible reportedly runs up to 9 hours.
