Kate Middleton will return to attending public engagements four months after the birth of Princess Charlotte. Since welcoming Princess Charlotte in May, the Duchess of Cambridge put on hold her royal duties to spend time with her children.
According to Daily Mail, Middleton will resume her royal duties next week to visit to the Anna Freud Centre in London on Sept. 17 to examine their progress in children's mental health care.
Kensington Palace confirmed the news of the official engagement on its Twitter account on Sept. 4 Friday. "The Duchess to visit the Anna Freud Centre @afcevents on 17 Sept to see their work in children's mental health care," tweeted Kensington Palace.
Middleton is a patron to many children's non-profit organizations and has previously made an appeal to the public to pay attention to the issue of mental health - mainly for children and teenagers.
Then, the mother of four-month-old will attend the opening ceremony of the six-week Rugby World Cup at Twickenham on Sept. 18 to join Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry.
Joint engagements with Prince William are also lined up including visits to Dundee and North Wales in late October and late November.
Meanwhile, the royal family is invited to join the celebration to mark Queen Elizabeth II's 63 years on the British throne. The couple along with their two kids will celebrate the Queen's record of becoming the longest reigning British monarch at Balmoral castle on Sept. 9.
The Queen will beat the record set by her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria - 63 years and 7 months - more than a century ago.
According to Hello Magazine, Prince William and Middleton will visit New Year without Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
However, the royals are reportedly still undecided on the exact countries for their visit, although the Caribbean is the place most probably they would like to visit.
