The annual Apple event will be held on Sept. 9. The company will unveil what it has been working on the past year, and they made sure it is going to be huge.
The location of the most awaited Apple Event will be at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco. With 7000 seats, this venue is larger than the venue a year ago, where Apple announced the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, and the Apple watch.
With the invitations saying: "Hey, Siri, give us a hint", there have been a lot of rumors and "leaks" recently about the event, but we expect Apple to have surprises at hand. Here is what Tech Insider leaked a few hours prior to the September Apple event.
iPhone
Like the previous years, the iPhone is considered to be the star of this Apple event. Apple is anticipated to reveal an update to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. These updated iPhones may then be called iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, giving it the "S" designators Apple has used in the past.
It is expected to come with faster processors, better cameras, and an improved, more sensitive fingerprint scanner although drastic changes in size and shape may not happen.
Reports have been made regarding a possibility of a pressure sensitive screen. This may be the biggest update yet. This will enable people to make different commands depending on the pressure you apply on the screen of the phone. This feature can already be seen in the Apple Watch and some Mac computers, although Apple may give it a new name, other than the Force Touch.
Mark Gurman, from 9to5Mac, said the new cameras will then be able to shoot in ultra-high definition 4k and an additional color (Rose Gold) will be added. In addition to this, the front camera will now have a flash.
Lewis Hilsenteger, the guy responsible for the viral video on how easily the iPhone 6 Plus was bent when pressure is applied, said that the phone's casing will now be considerably stronger.
While it appears that the base model of the iPhone will be configured with a 16GB storage, iPhones with bigger storages will still be made available.
Apple TV
According to Buzzfeed, the Apple TV will finally get a makeover. This will be announced on this Apple event as well. Reports show that the Apple TV will now have an app store app and Siri. On top of this, the remote may get an addition of a touch pad. Motion sensors will also be added to the TV. This may mean that the TV could also be used for gaming.
iPad
Rumors of a 12.9 inch iPad Pro have been circulating the net recently. Reports show that this iPad will come with a stylus that will integrate the Force Touch feature. Other than a new iPad, it is also expected that Apple will reveal an update on the iPad Mini on this Apple event.
Operating System
This Apple event will not only showcase the ones mentioned above. Other updates expected of Apple also include the iOS 9, Mac OS X El Capitan, and a less expensive version of the Apple watch.
Like the previous years, Apple will stream the event live. The Apple event will start at 10 A.M. PT (1 P.M. in New York; 6 P.M. London).
