Announced almost a month ago, the Moto X Style packs some impressive specs, and with a price tag of only $400, it is very difficult to regret buying this Android device.

Design

Like the previous Motorola flagship devices, the Moto X Style can be purchased through the Moto Maker website. This enables buyers to customize their handsets based on their prefered back cover. The design is pretty much the same as with its predecessors, with slight changes for placements at the back.

Display

QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) is the staple display resolution for flagships this year, and the Moto X Style does not disappoint. At this price range, screens with such high contrast and resolution are definitely worth it. The screen does have two speakers on either side to make viewing movies very pleasurable.

Hardware

The device boasts the cream of the crop specs among flagships this year, including a Snapdragon 808 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and options for 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of built-in storage. There is a microSD card for memory expansion up to 128GB. The camera department also shines with the Moto X Style's 21MP primary camera and 5MP front shooter. In comparison, the Galaxy Note 5 only has a 16MP main snapper, and it costs almost twice as much as the Motorola handset does.

Motorola is definitely making great follow-ups for its flagship lineup, and for consumers who have slightly different preferences, there are a few more new Moto handsets that are coming their way in the next few months.
