Serena Williams spent the evening with Kim Kardashian before she competes with her sister Venus in the US Open.
Williams and Kardashian have been friends for some time and reconnected while in New York. The duo arrived and left together in the same SUV.
Williams attended Kardashian's second wedding to Kris Humphries. Williams, who is a three-time defending champion attempts to become the first person since Steffi Graf in1988 to win a calendar-year Grand Slam, at this year's U.S. Open.
Mrs. West took to her Instagram account on Sept. 7, Monday to share a photo of the duo enjoying some tea time together, captioning it: "Sipping & spilling the tea tonight with Serena."
The tennis star later reposted the photo on her Instagram account and included the caption: "Delicious tea." In the photo, the two friends are seen sitting at a small table at Carbone in New York's West Village.
According to HollywoodLife, Kardashian has discussed with Williams about how to win her man's heart.
"The best way to get them to chase you is to reject them and play hard to get at first. If Drake is serious, he will make Serena a priority. If he doesn't, he's not worth the Serena's time," a source told HollywoodLife.com
Drake and Williams are dating and were spotted together on Aug. 23 at Sotto restaurant in Downtown Cincinnati. According to TMZ the couple was seen making out there.
Both the ladies looked sporty and stylish in their ensembles, with Williams wearing a white skirt and black mini blazer and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," wearing jeans, a T-shirt, and a black blazer.
