1. Bulguksa Temple (Gyeongju)
The famous huge Korean traditional drum found in Bulguksa Temple. Designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, the temple is a home to a number of significant cultural relics such as the Golden Seated Vairocana Buddhist Figure, the Sari-tap, and at least five other national treasures.
2. Jimjil-bang Spa (Seoul)
Jimjil-bang Spa is a great place to relax the traditional Korean way. Jimjil means heating in Korean. Koreans believe that perspiring in hot rooms loosens the tensions and stress of the mind and body, Korea Tourism Organization reported.
While in the spa, visitors may order maekbanseok gyeran (stone-plate cooked eggs) or an ice sikhye (a traditional sweet Korean drink with floating rice).
The place also functions as a safe, clean, and affordable spot to stay overnight. It attracts many travelers who are on a tight budget.
3. Play Hill (Wolmido Island)
The Play Hill is a must-see attraction, which features two signature thrill rides; Apollo Disco (in the picture) and Viking. Play Hill is found in Wolmido Island, a popular place near Seoul. Many cafes and seafood restaurants line the island's coast. It serves the freshest seafood.
4. Santa's Village (Herb Island)
It is Christmas every day at Santa's Village located in Herb Island. On the Island, visitors can take a walk along the abundant herbs field during summer, spring, and fall.
5. Juwangsan National Park (North Gyeongsang Province)
The Juwangsan National Park is characterized by rocky peaks, deep valleys and elegant waterfalls. Its has a long hiking trail, which runs through the Sangui Parking Lot, Kaldeunggogae Ridge, Hurimegi, and a Waterfall.
