Justin Bieber allegedly threw a fit while performing for a live performance on "The Today Show" when he got involved in an impromptu public argument with the show's director, completely forgetting that his microphone was still on.
The 22-year-singer was performing in front of hundreds of fans in Rockefeller Plaza on his latest number, "What Do You Mean," when decided to pick a bone with the show's director. As soon as the track ended, he complained that the camera was too close to him and has failed to capture his cool dance moves.
"The camera's there the whole time, I might as well not even dance," said the singer while walking up to the camera before the show went for the commercial break.
It clearly appeared that the YouTube sensation missed on the fact that his mic is still on before whining that next time he will not dance. The outburst came as a surprise as right before performing on the track, he appeared to be in a good mood and expressed his gratitude for finally being appreciated once again, Huffington Post reported.
The singer also claimed that he has done some serious "soul searching" and will love to play the Super Bowl with Taylor Swift.
Despite the outburst, the singer apparently was calmed down during the commercial break and he continued to perform on several more songs including "Boyfriend" and an acoustic version of "Baby."
Fresh off a year of criminal convictions, public apologies and even a nationally televised roast, Bieber seems to have made a blasting comeback as his recently released single "What Do You Mean" has already made it to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
With the rising popularity of the track, Bieber has become the youngest-ever male artist to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, Entertainment Weekly reported.
