Jamie Alexander, who is until now was known for her roles in "Thor" and "The Last Stand" and will be soon seen in NBC's new sitcom "Blindspot," had used her fighting skill in real life too when she knocked off an over-friendly producer.
The 31-year-old actress, whose new TV series is premiering on Sept. 21, revealed that an unnamed producer once tried to untie her bikini at a work-related party when she moved swiftly and hit him with her elbow. Since the man was quite short in height, he was badly hurt in the eye and was knocked down, after which he was terminated from work, the actress told People.
Alexander seemed pretty excited over her new series in which she is once again playing a badass with exceptional fighting skills. In "Blindspot" season 1, she will portray the role a woman who is found stuffed in a duffel bag in New York's Times Square, completely naked with no memory and several mysterious freshly-made tattoos on her body.
The woman attracts the attention of the FBI when it is found that the name FBI agent Kurt Weller, who will be played by "Strike Back" star Sullivan Stapleton, is tattooed across her back. While the FBI gets down to solve the tattoo puzzle, the amnesiac woman has to figure out herself whether to trust her memory which is returning to her in bits and pieces or not.
The show will also feature "Treme" star Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza and "Fringe" actor Michael Gaston.
The show will unravel the world of tattoos and the significance of different symbols as there will be "reexamination of tattoos that you've seen before," the show's creator Greg Berlanti told Channel Guide Magazine.
"Blindspot" will premier on Sept. 21, Monday, at 10 pm on NBC. Check out the trailer below:
