Leaked video of ten-minute raw and unadorned gameplay of "Star Wars: Battlefront" has surfaced on Youtube, offering the the view of long and unedited look of the game's Hoth map.
The leaked gameplay video came from YouTuber Jake McNeill, and clearly shows that "Star Wars: Battlefront" is a shooting game that will take place in the Star Wars universe, according to PC Gamer. It is completely displayed in a third-person point of view, and it seems that players will begin the game the Walker Assault Mode on Hoth because of the snow and Walkers are being assaulted as per the gameplay.
It also shows the interiors of the game on the Hoth map. The mode shows that the Empire had to stop the Rebels from calling in Y-Wing support to bomb the AT-ATs and the Storm Troopers invades the base to prevent the Rebels.
Walker Assault on Hoth game type involves 40 human players, 20 each on both sides. It features the player’s weapon selection menus, lots of third-person shooting, and more. The firing mechanics are mostly on point and it shows that there is no recoil compared to first two "Star Wars: Battlefront" games. Gamers can actually just hold down the fire button non-stop.
It suggests that there is no spread on the rapid fire and its laser accuracy will not dissipate or become affected by range. Previous "Star Wars: Battlefront" games would not allow players to just hold down the fire button and shoot recklessly. Short bursts were needed to squeeze off a few shots, so players can keep the spread to stop the laser in firing occasionally in various directions.
The beta for "Star Wars: Battlefront" is set to release on October across all gaming consoles, Gamespot reported. It will allow players to try out Walker Assault on Hoth, one Survival mission set on Tatooine, and the new Drop Zone mode. Official launch for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC will be on Nov. 17.
