Videogamers will have more to anticipate in 2015 as several indie and AAA titles are in line to be launched this year, including sequels featuring Link and Batman.
The anticipated games of 2015 include "Batman: Arkham Knight" the last installment in Rocksteady's Arkham franchise, which began with "Batman: Arkham Asylum" in 2009.
Fans of the dark knight are also anticipating the much awaited feature in the upcoming video game title, the Batmobile. In the past three installments of the Arkham video game series, Batman travelled throughout Gotham on foot or by fast travel, but as the trailers revealed, the Arkham Knight title, which will be launched on June 2015 finally after several delays, will see Bruce Wayne drive around fighting crime in the Batmobile.
Nintendo is still very much into the video gaming industry as it will be releasing another sequel to its Zelda franchise, the Legend of Zelda Wii U. The console exclusive title also features a refreshing take as it introduced the game's open world, similar to "Elder Scrolls" titles, during last year's E3 convention, according to Gamespot.
Following the wake up console exclusives, the PlayStation 4 has "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," the third and possibly last sequel to the Uncharted franchise by Naughty Dog, who is also the creators of the critically acclaimed 2013 video game hit "The Last of Us."
Another PS4 exclusive is "The Order: 1886," which impressed many by its next-gen graphics. The third-person alternate history shooter will be released on February 20.
Meanwhile, the Xbox One will see the return of Master Chief in "Halo 5: Guardians," which will be released in fall 2015.
PC video gamers are also anticipating "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," even if not PC-exclusive, by CD Projekt RED. Fans have even lauded the launching delays of the title as the Poland-based developer is polishing the much awaited game.
Aside from the AAA titles, indie developers are also making a name as several indie titles are also anticipated, including sci-fi game "No Man's Sky" by Hello Games and "Firewatch," a first person thriller by Campo Santo Studios.
Other popular titles include L4D-like "Evolve," "Bloodborne," "Tom Clancy's The Division," "Rise of the Tomb Raider" and a next-gen "Star Wars: Battlefront."
