The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Denver Broncos at the Arrowhead Stadium to kick off week 2 games of the 2015 NFL season.
Denver is coming off an ugly 19-13 win over the Baltimore Ravens in their season opener at home in a game where both Super Bowl MVP quarterbacks had an off-night.
Fourteen-time Pro Bowler Peyton Manning's 24-for-40 passing for 175 yards and 59.9 rating for the night was just enough to dispatch Joe Flacco's Ravens as the latter played worse than his more senior counterpart, via Fansided.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs surprised the Houston Texans right at the NRG Stadium to come away with a 27-20 victory against one of the best defensive teams in the league.
Kansas City held its own on defense, allowing Houston to score only nine points in the first three quarters, as reported by Heavy.
Alex Smith was awesome in the game going 22-for-33 for 243 yards, three touchdowns, and a QB rating of 118.6.
However, Manning is not Brian Hoyer or Ryan Mallett and the Chiefs defense will surely have their hands full against the visitors. It will be another low-scoring game that favors Gary Kubiak's squad.
Prediction: Denver wins, 21-17
