Newly-promoted club SV Darmstadt 98 (1-0-3, 6 points) will test its mettle against defending Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich (4-0-0, 12 points) on Saturday, September 19 at their home field of Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor in Darmstadt, Germany.

The 2. Bundesliga runners-up are actually having a very good first season in the country's first division football league as they went unbeaten in their first four games of the season.

They won against last year's no. 4 squad, Bayer Leverkusen, in their most recent game last Saturday, 1-0, at the BayArena to snatch their first win of the young season, as reported by ESPN. Their previous three games were all draws.

Bayern Munich came from behind to notch their fourth straight win against Bavarian rivals FC Augsburg, 2-1, also last Saturday at the Allianz Arena, as per Fox Sports.

Striker Thomas Müller saved the Bavarians with a 90th-minute penalty goal to snatch the three points for Pep Guardiola and stay within striking distance of current league-leader Borussia Dortmund.

Augsburg midfielder Alexander Esswein opened the scoring two minutes before the halftime break to scare Bayern. But Polish forward Robert Lewandowski equalized the count at the 77th to set up the game-clinching goal by Müller.

The prediction is a 2-0 win for Bayern Munich. Müller, Lewandowski, and company would be too much for Dirk Schuster's side as they experience their first loss in the top league.
