Last year's Bundesliga runners-up VfL Wolfsburg (2-0-2, 8 points) will host up and coming team Hertha Berlin SC (2-1-1, 7 points) at the Volkswagen Arena on September 19, Saturday.

The Wolves, who were unbeaten in their first four games of the 2015-2016 season, will try to preserve their streak against Pál Dárdai's highly-improved Hertha XI.

Wolfsburg had two wins and two draws so far, but their last game was a disappointing goalless draw against newly-promoted squad FC Ingolstadt 04, as per ESPN.

The game was the team's first without stars Kevin De Bruyne and Ivan Perisic who were recently sold to Premier League's Manchester City and Serie A's Inter Milan separately. Midfielder Julian Draxler, who is also targeted by some big clubs in the other international leagues, is expected to fill the scoring void left by De Bruyne.

It is clear that manager Dieter Hecking was not satisfied about the result versus Die Schanzer as his team tries to adapt to key personnel losses and at the same time hold on to third place in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, Die Alte Dame is having one of its finest seasons so far in the Bundesliga. They started the season with a two-game unbeaten run before succumbing to current league leader Borussia Dortmund, 3-1, in their third game.

In their last game, they defeated cellar-dweller VfB Stuttgart, 2-1, to gain another three points and stay in the upper half of the league table, via SkySports.

The prediction is a close 1-0 home victory for VfL Wolfsburg. Die Wölfe is expected to win a low-scoring game against the Blue-Whites not only as they are at home but because Hecking will adjust his rotation.
