A very emotional Chloe Lukasiak opened up about her recent eye surgery. The "Dance Moms" alum revealed that she has always been insecure about having a lazy eye, a condition in which one eye appears to be smaller than the other.
In an interview with Seventeen, Lukasiak admitted that she has always been teased about her eye.
"People started saying things about it, so that was really hard," she told the publication.
In the video, Lukasiak recounted an incident where she really got hurt by one of the comments she received from an adult. Inquistr pointed out that she could only be talking about Abby Lee Miller. Miller allegedly made fun of Lukasiak's condition, not caring about her feelings at all.
"Dance Moms" fans are no stranger to hearing Miller give out harsh comments, so this did not come as a surprise. Lukasiak shared that she just tries to stay positive and not let the rude comments get to her.
The dancer revealed that she thought it was nothing but a lazy eye, but turns out it was a more serious condition called silent sinus syndrome. It was said that the doctors were worried that it could affect her vision if she did not undergo surgery as soon as possible.
Early this week, Lukasiak along with her family decided that she should go through the procedure after consulting with multiple surgeons. The dancer revealed that she is taking a break for the moment to fully recover.
She, however, promised fans that she will be back as soon as possible. She also thanked them for staying by her side through it all.
