Dane Cook brushed off the rumor that he and Miley Cyrus are dating.
Rumors started circulating on Sept.16, Wednesday that Dane Cook and "We Can't Stop" hit maker were dating after a source told Us Weekly that the two are romantically involved.
Once the 43-year-old comedian learned about the rumor, he instantly shut it down.
"I'm always the last to know these things. Just let Miley know that I'll pick her up for dinner at 8," Cook told E! News
Cook and the 22-year-old pop star have been friends for years. This rumor surfaced almost five months after "Wrecking Ball" songstress split from Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Since then, Cyrus has been linked to Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell. Cyrus has been very open about her sexuality and relationships.
However, "Can't Be Tamed" singer admitted that she does not want to limit herself to gender typecasts but she said that she and Stella are not in a relationship.
"I'm 22, I'm going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I'm with," she revealed in Elle U.K's October issue. "I'm very open about it; I'm pansexual. But I'm not in a relationship."
Cook has been linked to singers Jessica Simpson and Nicole Scherzinger. He also had been in a relationship with actress Raquel Houghton. Six months ago Dane posted a flirty picture of him with Cyrus.
"This girl is nothing but class, sass and a hot piece of ass from European dune grass to relative molecular mass. Tryin' to take her down only raises her glass while she sparkles and shines like a lined fairy wrasse," wrote Cook on Instagram.
This picture also provided the base to the dating rumors. Although Cook has put that rumor to rest yet Cyrus has to comment.
