Lenovo followed up the highly successful A7000 with an updated version, and made the device available in the Philippines this week.
Dubbed as the Lenovo A7000 Plus, the device boasts some impressive midrange specs and comes with a very affordable price tag of only P7,999 or about $181.
However, it is interesting to point out that the Lenovo A7000 Plus boasts almost identical specs to the Lenovo K3 Note, another midrange handset that is also priced the same. The handset made it to the Philippine edition of online retailer Lazada.
Both the Lenovo A7000 Plus and the K3 Note pack a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 2GB of RAM, a MediaTek MT6572 chipset, an octa-core CPU, and 16GB of built-in memory with an option for storage expansion up to 32GB.
Other notable specs include a 13MP primary camera and 5MP front shooter, as mentioned in a report by Christian Post. In comparison, the Lenovo A7000 only had an 8MP primary snapper.
Completing the specs list include dual-SIM support, dual-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and other connectivity features. A 3,000mAh battery powers the device, which should last an entire day with moderate use.
As of the moment, there are still no updates when the Lenovo A7000 Plus would become available in other Asian markets.
