It was just days when Apple opened the pre-orders for the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus and they are already shipping out orders.
According to MacRumors, users who have processed their pre-orders last week already received an update on their delivery status stating, "Preparing for Shipment." The update also indicated that the customers can expect the smartphones to be delivered on Sept. 25.
Though the updates included a "free overnight shipping" detail, there are other logistics details to be considered for this large shipment.
According to Apple Insider, it is unclear how Apple is handling the deliveries since there were orders from last week that are still being processed, while there are others that are already "on route."
Apple is using couriers like FexEx and UPS in the United States area, but it is expected that New York City and Philadelphia residents will experience a delay because of the Pope's visit next week.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus were made available in areas including Australia, China, France, United States, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Germany, United Kingdom and Singapore.
Rose Gold models will be delayed for up to 3 to 4 weeks after the retail launch. There are also other stock constraints on iPhone 6s Plus orders.
For consumers who did not make it for the pre-order, the retail sale will start on Sept. 25 at 8 a.m. EST. There will be no reservations on all Apple stores.
The iPhone 6s 64GB is available for $749 while the iPhone 6s 128GB is available for $849.
