As a tribute to the recent NFL pre-season opener, "Madden NFL 16" updated at least 188 of their characters, giving the game more life-like players compared to its previous version.
According to the Sporting News, Electronic Arts has revealed the DLC of the game's characters, said to be new scans of player profile and resembling a more believable character. The downloadable content provided by EA, however, is only available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Among the teams that received that said update includes Dallas Cowboys, Vikings and Texans. The Cowboys received the most number of entities that reached 27 scanned faces.
"Madden NFL 16" will not only receive the character boot, but also some updates and tweaks on the entire game play and modes. According to Gamespot, one of the most notable characters that received the incredible transformation is San Diego Charger's free safety Eric Weddle. Eric's profile now bears the beard he currently has and the image has been created in a life-like manner, players will actually believe they are playing Weddle.
Meanwhile, according to Push Square, Sony PlayStation is now the number 1 seller of gaming console, thanks to the immense contribution of "Madden NFL 16" that made it to the top. PlayStation made it to the top both in hardware and software platforms. Some of the games that incredibly pushed the gaming consoles to compete to the top include "Madden NFL 16" for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, "Minecraft," "Gear of War: Ultimate Edition," "Grand Theft Auto," "Until Dawn," "Rare Replay," "Call of Duty: Black Ops Combo Pack," "Batman: Arkham Knight," "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" and "LEGO Jurassic World." Sony is working on getting an exclusive rights to "Destiny: The Taken King" from Activision wherein they can eventually release its bundle for their U.S. customers.
