Developer of the basketball video game "NBA 2K16" recently released a list of top 10 players at each position. Based on the list, it appears that the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar and four time NBA Most Valuable Player has the highest rating among all players in the game.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, 2K Sports gave James a player rating of 94. His rating is a point higher compared to the current NBA MVP Stephen Curry who received a rating of 93.
According to Design and Trend, on the small forward position, James headed that list followed by Oklahoma City Thunders' Kevin Durant with a rating of 91. New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony gets the third spot with 88 and San Antonio Spurs' Kawhi Leonard is fourth with 87. Indiana Pacers' Paul George who broke his leg in August 2014 received a rating of 86 and is fifth in the small forward position.
Reports claim that 2K Sports notched every players' rating in "NBA 2K16." The company adapted a strict criteria in handling ratings compared to the previous version of the game. This is the reason why only a few players has a rating of 90 and above.
Many fans were expecting Stephen Curry to top the list this year due to him winning the championship and the MVP award as well.
On the other hand, Kobe Bryant received the biggest drop in terms of rating. Bryant has an "NBA 2K16" rating of 86 which is the lowest he has ever been in his entire career.
Fans are still excited about the changes that will be made on players' ratings once the official NBA season starts in October.
