Broadcast channel ABC's "Scandal" Season 5 premiere appear to give hints on the relationship dilemmas that crisis manager Olivia Pope and president Fitzgerald Grant may experience whether they keep their romantic status a secret or not.
Based on the press releases of the drama series, it was apparent that the couple will finally be reunited. However, their reunion might be placed in troubled waters as the president decided to give his wife Mellie divorce papers to officially start his relationship with the manager.
For her husband's affair, the furious wife would definitely be out for revenge. According to Hollywood Life, actress Bellamy Young (who played as Mellie) claimed that her character will probably cause a lot of bad reputation for the president after her husband chose her over the other woman.
In addition, the broadcast channel also revealed that a new job offer may impede the manager and the president's growing relationship. Apparently, the Queen of Caledonia will ask the woman's help to keep the Royal family's life private.
According to some fans, the job appeared to be a great factor that will hinder the Washington-based manager from seeing her lover. In addition, supporters of the show speculate that Olivia may either get distracted by her affair or do the job well.
Previously, it could be seen in a promotional video that Fitz himself went to meet the said queen in an highly-sophisticated party. However, their conversation was cut short when a commotion connected to the Royal family suddenly arise.
Aside from the impending trouble that their relationship may cause, other characters will also face their own problems. According to Inquisitr, other characters such as Cyrus and Huck might deal with the messy consequences that their actions have caused.
"Scandal" Season 5 will start airing on ABC on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. of eastern standard time.
