Rumors are doing the rounds that Google Nexus 6 (2015) aka Nexus 6P will come out of the box run by Android Marshmallow. Also, various reports suggest that the electronics maker LG is already preparing its G4, G3 and G2 handsets for the forthcoming Android Marshmallow.
The search giant Google is preparing to launch two Nexus handsets on September 29. One of the devices will be made by LG and the other will be made by Huawei.
According to Neurogadget, the Google Nexus 6 (2015) will have 3 GB of RAM and will be powered by octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor. Also, the smartphone will sport a 5.7-inch display.
On the other hand, according to rumors, LG G4, G3 and G2 devices will be skipping the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update and will get upgraded into the Android Marshmallow. Furthermore, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, AT&T and Sprint are planning for the Android Marshmallow update on a few of their devices.
LG may skip the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update and move on to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, according to International Business Times. this could upset LG userS because the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update has improved performance of the devices and fixed several bugs.
The LG G4 may get the Android M upgrade by the end of 2015 or next year while other handsets, such as LG G3 and LG G2, may receive the update much later.
Android Marshmallow will come with new features such as support for USB Type-C, support for Android Pay, Personalized Chrome tabs, Network Reset Option and RAM Manager. The update will also bring several improvements.
