The New Orleans Saints (0-2) will visit the Carolina Panthers (2-0) at the Bank of America Stadium on Sunday with their starting quarterback Drew Brees uncertain with a bruised rotator cuff.
The injury, which was acquired in their 26-19 loss to the Bucs, was similar to what boxing champion Manny Pacquiao suffered in his fight with retired great Floyd Mayweather Jr., only that Brees' rotator cuff was only bruised and not torn.
With that setback, Ron Rivera's defense is expected to take advantage of the situation and push second-string signal caller Luke McCown to the limit.
ESPN indicated that Brees downplayed the injury, saying that everybody is dealing with something at this point in the season.
Cam Newton lived up to his nickname "Superman" against the Texans last Sunday, passing for two touchdowns, then front flipping on one, for a total of 271 yards, via Fansided.
Newton completely evaded Houston's Rahim Moore with a flying front flip and a nice landing to boot amidst the cheers of Carolina's crowd.
The Panthers will go for their third straight win against New Orleans as head coach Sean Payton looks for answers on his injured starting quarterback.
Prediction: Panthers win, 28-17
