Take a first look at the premiere episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 in this "Sledgehammer" sneak peek released by ABC.
According to Us Weekly, the official trailer for the 12th season of the show highlighted that "everything has changed" and that's exactly what we see in the first episode.
In the clip, you will see Meredith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo, looking unsure if she can really participate in an emergency case right in front of her.
Callie Torres, played by Sara Ramirez, is shown attending to a teenage girl all bloodied and bruised. She then sees a heart-shaped mark on the victim's arm.
Callie then moves to the other emergency room and checks on the other young female victim and saw the same mark.
ABC reported that the first episode of the season will tackle the socially relevant topic of bullying. This forces the doctors Grey Sloan Memorial to revisit their own experiences in bullying and how it affected them.
Here are some of the things we know so far about season 12 of "Grey's Anatomy." First, Meredith is slowly adjusting to her new roommates Amelia and Maggie.
Second, Miranda Bailey, played by Chandra Wilson, will meet Tracy McConnell, the other doctor vying for the Chief of Surgery position. Joey Lauren Adams is guest starring for the said role.
Third, April Kepner, played by Sarah Drew, is returning to Seattle and her husband Jackson Avery, played by Jesse Williams, is getting ready to meet his estranged wife.
