Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was released in October last year along with Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. The device sports a 5.7-inch display screen with a Quad HD screen resolution. The pixel resolution present in the device is 2560x1440 and 515 pixels per inch. The device was released with Android KitKat 4.4.4 out of the box.

Android Lollipop 5.1.1 is expected to bring about plenty of changes in the phone, according to BGR. This upgrade will make bug fixes and improvise the material design for the phone. It will also bring about the support for Android Play.

It will also provide the support for the USB Type-C connection port and the fingerprint sensor. It will get the sync feature to the devices, along with the switch feature. The icon size in the home launcher settings will become bigger. The volume rockers will be able to get controlled in the home screen, without any need to go to the phone settings. There will be new items present in the settings menu.

To check for the update, the users can follow the steps: Settings > About phone > System update > Check for updates.

The phone must be charged to at least 50 percent and connected to a stable Wi-Fi connection for an uninterrupted installation.
