Current league leader Real Madrid (4-0-1, 13 points) will try to extend its four-game winning streak in the 2015-2016 La Liga season as it faces lowly club Malaga (0-3-2, 2 points) at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on September 26, Saturday.

Los Blancos overtook Barcelona for the top spot of the 2015-2016 La Liga when they beat Athletic Bilbao, 2-1, during their Wednesday game at San Memes while Barça suffered a horrible loss to Celta Vigo, 1-4, via Bleacher Report.

French striker Karim Benzema scored a double for Rafa Benitez's side to snatch their fourth straight win after a goalless draw with Sporting Gijon in their opener four weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Malaga remained winless as they dropped a second consecutive game this time against contending squad Villarreal, 0-1, at La Rosaleda also on Wednesday.

Argentine midfielder Fernando Tissone scored an own goal at the 71st-minute to spell the doom for Javi Gracia's men, as per SkySports.

It was an unfortunate turn of events for Los Boquerones as their defense was able to hold on to the attacks of El Submarino Amarillo only to make a mistake at such a crucial time.

Playing against Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of Los Vikingos would be much more challenging for Gracia's side and it is highly likely that they will suffer a third straight loss in this match barring overconfidence in the part of Benitez's men.

The predicted result is a 3-0 victory for Real Madrid.
