New spec details of Motorola Droid Turbo 2 (known as the Moto X Force outside the United States) have surfaced online, along with the several features leaked for Moto X Pure Edition and second generation Moto 360.
Previously known as the Motorola Bounce (the phone’s internal codename), the device is expected to be more high-end smartphone. Launched in March with a "Moto Turbo" moniker, there have been a bunch of the Turbo 2’s specs leak before, but the new report apparently confirms a few of the device’s biggest features.
The device is tipped off to have a shatterproof 5.43-inch QHD display as compared to 5.2-inch QHD screen from the original Turbo. It is reported that its display is unbreakable and has metal edges that run along the sides, according to NDTV Gadgets.
Droid Turbo 2 is powered by Snapdragon 810 SoC (MSM8994). It comes with 3GB of RAM and two versions of internal storage, 32GB and 64GB.
The rear camera has 21MP and the front camera is 5MP good for selfie. The previous device has only 2MP front camera, a good upgrade when it comes to camera specifications. Its battery capacity is 3760mAh, a downgrade from 3900mAh in the predecessor. However, the device will also support wireless charging.
With the Moto Maker features, the users will be able to customise the body and select the color of the handset and back cover. Users who opt to buy the device from Moto Maker will have the chance to tweak the design of their phone once within two years of purchase free of any additional charges, Phandroid reported.
Motorola plans to announce the Droid Turbo 2 as early as Oct. 15 and the launching will be on Oct. 29.
