A new set of HTC's upcoming One A9 leaks are making rounds online, giving a better view of the device just like iPhone, but with huge bezels.
Prolific phone leaker Evan Blass, @evleaks, has revealed new details for the upcoming HTC One A9 with codename Aero. Blass claimed that the device is a mid-ranger aimed at style-conscious types of users, providing a clearer leaked image.
It appears that an iPhone 6s with three color choices are identical to Apple's latest handsets, which are rose gold, carbon gray and silver, according to Engadget. Other colors are acid gold, deep garnet and cast iron.
The photo comes to confirm some of the One A9's specs. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 617 SoC. It will have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage plus a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. It has a 5-inch touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 screen resolution.
The device feature a 13MP rear backside illuminated camera and 4MP UltraPixel front-facing camera, with a battery capacity of 2150mAh. The small battery if fitted to the rumored quoted 7mm profile.
Instead of HTC’s standard "Boomsound" stereo front-facing speakers, they will feature a conventional earpiece and a Samsung-style fingerprint reader/home button with an HTC logo above it. Blass also claimed that A9 will come to Sprint in November, but there is no confirmation about it from the Taiwanese tech company.
HTC may officially announce One A9 during their Sept. 29 event or it could be launched on October according to previous rumors, according to GSMArena. Meanwhile, Google will also be releasing its two new Nexus smartphones on Sept. 29.
