The Dallas Cowboys are probably the unluckiest 2-0 team in the NFL. With the loss of superstar Quarterback Tony Romo, there just isn't much hope for them to carve out the dream season they were expecting.
Luckily, the Dallas Cowboys are playing in an NFC East which is looking worser each passing day. The New York Giants and the Washington Redskins sit at 1-2 while former Cowboy DeMarco Murray's Philadelphia Eagles are at the bottom of the pack with 0-2. At the very least, the Cowboys can mathematically keep their division league until week 5 even if they lose their next couple games.
The Dallas Cowboys however, aren't looking to lose games. They're looking to add wins. While Brandon Weeden and the recently trade Matt Cassel can be servicable, one wonders if picking up another quarterback will spell the difference for the Cowboys.
Rumor has it, that Tim Tebow may be an option.
A tweet by Texas Governor Greg Abbott stated that "Bittersweet victory for @Cowboys. Win game but lose @TonyRomo. Maybe Dallas will sign @TimTebow. #NFL."
Tebow last participated in the Phildelphia Eagle's practice squad, and has not played an NFL game since playing for the New York Jets in 2012.
Could the Dallas Cowboy's recent bad luck be a blessing from God for Tim Tebow?
Chances are, Tebow is not going to join the Cowboys. Most NFL quarterbacks take months to learn a team's game plan, and by the time a player like Tebow understands how to run the Cowboys, Tony Romo will be back and Tebow won't be needed.
However, there is always the off chance that the Cowboys want to add Tebow and give him a shot. Tebow is gaining traction in a lot of news reports as well as garnered support from the Governor of Texas, after all.
