"Doctor Who" season 9 episode 3 titled "Under The Lake," which will air on Oct. 3, will feature ghosts. The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) are set to find something more than a ghost story.
In "Doctor Who" season 9 episode 3 "Under The Lake," a shining black spaceship is recovered under a lake but there is nothing inside. The base crew start dying leading them to their discovery that ghosts are real.
Upon their arrival, the Doctor and Clara find the base under siege. What the Doctor discovers, however, is that the situation is more than a ghost story.
During a panel for "Doctor Who" at the recent Radio Times Festival, show runner Steven Moffat said everyone is going to be safe on the show and whether or not Capaldi will still be the Doctor in "Doctor Who" season 10 depends on how "Doctor Who" season 9 ends.
Meanwhile, when asked by Entertainment Weekly about her fondest memory of working on "Doctor Who," Coleman said it is her moments with Matt Smith and with Capaldi.
"I mean, literally, you'd laugh the whole way through," said Coleman, who is set to leave the BBC sci-fi drama series. "You laugh every single day."
Created by Sydney Newman, C.E. Webber and Donald Wilson, "Doctor Who" is produced by the BBC from 1963 to present. The British sci-fi drama series has been headlined by 12 actors as the Doctor. Capaldi took on the role after Smith left the show in 2013.
