New "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" game details revealed regarding new game modes, a story trailer and its possible price details.
Blizzard Entertainment released a new story trailer for "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" which features the retelling of Protoss' history, their conflict with each other, the Dark Templars and the Zerg and reclamation of their home world, Aiur.
The story trailer will feature two Protoss heroes Artanis and Kaldalis, discussing their plan to take Aiur back from the Zerg, but Kaldalis questions Artanis' for uncertainty. Artanis admits that he does not doubt' his forces capacity to fight, but he worries that plan to reclaim Aiur could mean countless deaths to the Protoss. Artanis begins to tell the history of his people as the Protoss race rage war amongst each other before the events of the first StarCraft game. until the great Kas opened there eyes and minds to Kala and Protoss race became united in Aiur. Aiur was at peace during that time, but the Dark Templars, who openly rejected their religion, instigated another cycle of violence within the Protoss which led to the emergence of the Zerg race and conquered there home planet.
The trailer ends with Kaldalis informing Artanis that he will join the first wave of attacks against the Zerg in Aiur. Artanis respected Kaldanis' decision as they teleport to their ship and then begins the invasion to reclaim Aiur.
Aside from the game trailer, lead game designer Jason Huck revealed new game modes for "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" - The Co-op Missions and the Archon mode.
Formerly known as the "Allied Commanders," the Co-op Missions allow players to control one of the three StarCraft characters and ally with a second player to complete several game objectives.These characters include Jim Raynor, Kerrigan and Artanis each representing their respective factions, Venture Capital Post reported. Each ot the three commanders will have a special skill that can only be used in Co-op missions.
Archon Mode in "Legacy of the Void" will feature players teaming up with one another to take down a singular enemy.
Blizzard Entertainment revealed that "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" standard edition will cost around $40 when pre-ordered, while a Digital Deluxe edition will be at $60 and the Collector's edition at $80, Realty Today reported
"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" will launch on November 10 for the PC.
