"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" co-director Neil Druckmann revealed the action-adventure game's core theme, making the narrative play a critical role in the gaming experience.
He said that the PlayStation 4 game will talk about lead character Nathan Drake's personal dilemma between chasing his passion and spending time with the most important people in his life, Gamespot reported. The narrative of the game may get little emotional conflicts within.
Druckmann said in the interview that "Uncharted 4’s" theme also reveals that happens when you have to choose between those two things. The message of the game is how to reconcile with those two things that are really important to our personal lives.
Previously, Drake has been battling this conflict a few times, as the three women (Elena, Sully and Chloe) have all questioned the lead characters occasionally reckless decision-making.
American video game developer’s upcoming game is the final entry in the series to star Nathan Drake. Since "Uncharted 4" is crucial and produced an iconic protagonist, Naughty Dog needed more time to work on the climax of the game. The game developer has not ruled out yet the possibility of "Uncharted 5," but it is too difficult not to include Drake in the next game franchise.
The game’s Special Edition sells at $79.99, according to GottaBeMobile, and include a physical copy of "Uncharted 4" in a SteelBook case, a 48-page art book, a sheet of pirate stickers and a in-game currency to use on purchases for the game’s multiplayer. Libertalia Collector’s Edition includes Special Edition bundle, a 12-inch statue of Nathan Drake, three multiplayer outfits, two custom weapon skins, a Sigil baseball cap and a Madagascar sidekick outfit will cost the buyers $119.
"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" official release date is on March 18, 2016 and will be exclusive for PS4. Players may pre-order the game from GameStop and Amazon.
