Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ have just been released, but it is highly speculated that the South Korean smartphone giant is gearing up for its Galaxy S7.
Samsung Galaxy 7 will be having two variants of the next generation flagship phone. It is also said that the Samsung Galaxy 7 will be larger the Galaxy S6, which may come in with a 5.7-inch screen. It could also be made out of a magnesium-based alloy, Pocket-lint reported.
Samsung's trademark filing of a flexible screen was done a few weeks ago and it may also be a feature of the new phone, either a foldable one or one with a curved display screen. A stronger Turtle Glass may replace the current Corning's Gorilla Glass 3.
Two devices, codenamed Lucky, were spotted on a separate benchmark report not too long ago. The first contains a 3 GB of RAM while the second variant, an LTE one, shows a 4 GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy 7 rumors say that the company calls the devices Hero and Hero2. One will be sporting the new Exynos 8890 processors, while the other will have the expected Snapdragon 820 SoC, as Sam Mobile reported.
Samsung Galaxy 7, the new flagship phone might be ready by the next MWC 2016. Looking back at the previous Galaxy S series launches, the Galaxy S6 was launched at MWC 2015, while the Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Hero and Hero2 may be in the market somewhere between March and April if the pattern is followed.
