One of the exciting parts of watching WWE's weekly programs is making up rather over-the-top angles and storylines. Some spin these rumor mills for fun, while others just satisfy their typical 'what ifs.'
In this version, highlights and lowlights include: Ashley from HR, John Cena and Dolph Ziggler feud brewing, and Stone Cold's Wrestlemania appearance.
As usual, all the diehard WWE fans should take these with a grain of salt.
Ashley from HR
There were reports earlier that WWE RAW's "Ashley from HR" was actually the real life Ashley from HR.
She was rumored to be an employee of the WWE head office as the Director of Human Resource.
However, PW Insider quickly squashed the story claiming the woman who played Kane and Seth Rollins' performance evaluator was actually an actress. The name came from Ashley Osterriede, who is - surprise - WWE's Director of Human Resources.
John Cena's US Title Open Challenge
NXT continues to make its presence felt in the big stage, as recent talks suggest that some of the superstars will answer the call of John Cena's United States Title Open Challenge.
It's also a way to get these impressive superstars much-needed exposure on the main roster.
In other news, tensions are apparently building after Dolph Ziggler's explosive revelation on the season finale of Total Divas. In the episode, Ziggler admitted he still has feelings for Nikki Bella - his former flame and John Cena's current girlfriend.
The Show Off even promised Nikki marriage and children, as well as leaned in for a smooch before the show ended.
This might be a precursor to a Ziggler-Cena rivalry for the WWE United States Championship.
Wrestlemania 32 News
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair said in passing that Stone Cold Steve Austin plans to boycott Wrestlemania 32 if the WWE doesn't induct Michael Hayes and the rest of The Fabulous Freebirds in next year's Hall of Fame.
If true, this dismisses the rumors of a possible comeback match against Brock Lesnar.
