Marvel Studios have brought several changes in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's upcoming comics film "Captain America: Civil War."
According to Cinema Blend, having secret identities would not be the main concern in the Russos' film. Since the people in Marvel's Cinematic Universe know that Steve Rogers is Captain America and Tony Stark is Iron Man, the studio had led to the "Accords" as the cinematic adaptation of the Superhero Registration Act in the comic book.
"Captain America: Civil War" will also pick up from the incidents in Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." The latter film featured an international incident involving Captain America and the Avengers, in their plight of stopping Ultron from destroying mankind. This opposes the storyline in the original "Civil War" storyline, as the later reveals a massive incident due to a conflict between a team of young superheroes and supervillain Nitro.
The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" will not involve the X-Men, since the right to the mutant team is currently with 20th Century Fox. The Inhumans, who are increasing in number in Marvel's television series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," are set to be the mutants of Marvel's Cinematic Universe. However, it is also hoped that the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and the Avengers would united to defeat Thanos in "Avengers: Infinity War," as per Movie News Guide.
Chris Evans is set to reprise his role as the star-spangled Avenger in the Russos' film, along with Hawkeye, Falcon, Agent 13, and Ant-Man. They oppose Iron Man's team, which reportedly includes Black Widow, War Machine, The Vision, and Black Panther. Spider-Man is also set to appear in the film; however, no information yet as to which side he is in.
The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016.
