There will be a new case in the third episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2 titled "It's Called the Octopus." However, the storylines on the case against the Hapstall siblings , Annalise's shooting and the death of A.D.A. Emily Sinclair (Sarah Burns) at the Hapstall mansion will still continue to unfold in "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2, episode 3.
The third episode's synopsis in a TVGuide report teased Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) will take a new case where the Keating Five conduct an investigation on a high-end sex club. Annalise declares in the promo video of "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2, episode 3 that sex has everything to do with criminal law.
The promo video further teases on the guest appearance of "The Fosters" actress Sherri Saum in ABC's legal drama series. TVLine exclusively reported that a representative of "How to Get Away with Murder" has confirmed about the news on Saum's casting.
However, the HTGAWM rep refused to divulge any details on Saum's character and storyline during her guest appearance in "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2. Meanwhile, the synopsis further teased that Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) will find an unexpected ally and a new motive will materialize in the murder case against the wealthy Hapstall siblings, Caleb (Kendrick Sampson) and Catherine (Amy Okuda).
The first two episodes of the new season have already established that the Hapstall siblings and the case on the murder of their adoptive parents play an important role in the show. The shocking ending scene of the premiere episode showed that someone shot Annalise Keating at the Hapstall mansion.
In the second episode, it was revealed that A.D.A. Sinclair was also killed in the mansion and Annalise's students Wes, Laurel (Karla Souza), Michaela (Aja Naomi King) and Connor (Jack Falahee) know what really happened that night. Connor even told Annalise in the episode that what happened was her fault.
The upcoming episodes of "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2 are also expected to explore on the storylines of the mysterious text message that Rebecca (Katie Findlay) sent using Michaela's phone, the arrival of Rebecca's friend Levi (Matt Cohen) as well as Bonnie (Liza Weil) and Annalise's back story.
