The USA Network has officially cancelled "Graceland" after three seasons due to its poor ratings. Season 2 may have reached more than 2 million viewers but the premiere and finale episode of season 3 only drew in 1 million and 900,000, respectively to the surprise of the producers.

Series creator Jeff Eastin confirmed the devastating news early this week, via Twitter. He thanked the cast, crew and supporters of "Graceland" for all their support.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Eastin revealed that they were all extremely proud of the last two episodes of season 3. Although the viewers may have dwindled, he still believed that it was their best season.

The showrunner also considered the finale one of the "better stuff" he has done in his entire career. At the time of the interview, Eastin said that they have not heard from the network regarding the renewal or cancellation of "Graceland."

Regardless of USA Network's decision, he said that their only mission was for fans to enjoy the show. He added that they just wanted to give them a series that is both compelling and interesting.

Eastin also shared that they planned to promote Brandon Jay McLaren (Dale Jakes) as a series regular if the series had been renewed. He said that McLaren is a fantastic actor and would want to see him in the coming episodes.

If there was ever a season 4, Eastin hinted that it will feature a time jump. He explained that they were thinking of picking up the series six months after the season 3 finale.
