There is a possibility that iOS 9 and 9.1 Jailbreak release may not happen as developers are finding it difficult to scour the Apple's latest operating system of vulnerabilities.
According to Neurogadget, hackers are trying hard to get past the security in iOS 9 that makes it impossible to jailbreak. Some reports claimed that the vulnerabilities of the previous iOS versions that led to a jailbreak were fixed in the new iOS 9. Some reports claimed that the new iOS cannot be jailbroken.
However, there is still a glimmer of hope as YouTuber iH8Snow uploaded a video of iOS 9 jailbreak, but the developer has no plans of sharing his jailbreak.
The official release of iOS 9 jailbreak to the public is still unknown. Jailbreaking groups also remained mum whether they are working on new jailbreaks. Meanwhile, there are rumors claiming that iOS 9 jailbreak are in the works.
Apple users who want their devices jailbroken must downgrade their operating system to iOS 8.4.1, but this means they will not get the new features included in the iOS 9.
Apple recently released the iOS 9 and a large number of Apple users already updated their devices to the latest operating system. The iOS 9 brings some of the latest features Apple Pay, Drive, Multi-tasking and improved Siri.
In the past, Chinese developers Pangu and TaiG successfully released jailbreaks of the different versions of iOS 8, including iOS 8.4. Apple then released the official version of iOS 8.4.1 bringing new software fixes and updates, especially on the new Apple Music. Moreover, the new software version kills all of the iOS 8.4 jailbreak exploits from Chinese jailbreaking groups TaiG and PP.
