Moviepilot has provided a rundown of the superheroes that turned from friend to foe.
The list kicks off with Wolverine, the indestructible member of X-Men, who teams up with the group who inflicted him with a virus that removed his self-healing ability. He was asked to take down S.H.I.E.L.D. so he can get his healing powers restored.
Next is our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man who doesn't seem to be that friendly when he deliberately kills people.
Spiderfan.org has a complete list of all Peter Parker's killing incidents, both accidental and intentional. For the deliberate ones, Spidey reverses a fired missile to The Finisher's tank and kills him on the spot (Amazing Spider-Man Annual #5).
The wall crawler also teamed up with Iron Fist to kill Dorm the Backwards Man, by making him age backwards until he vanished (Marvel Team Up #31). He also suffocated a bystander who made scathing remarks on mutants using his web (Ultimate Marvel Team Up #1).
Daredevil comes third in the "Shadowland" storyline. Supervillain group "The Hand" asked Daredevil to lead their army or else they will destroy the city. Daredevil agrees and he becomes possessed by "The Hand" and turns into a demon.
You would think that The Hulk gets a pass because of his chemical imbalance but not on this one. In a Hostess ad back in the early 80's Hulk gets upset with the loud music and kills the group that were listening to it by rolling them up in the pavement cement.
Iron Man became a villain and paid a high price for it when he was brain-washed by the super villain Immortus. He killed Avengers associates and attacked the team. This cost Tony Stark his life but he was revived by Reed Richards.
