"Pretty Little Liars" fans are being given nibbles of what's to come in the upcoming season of the wildly popular drama series.
Following a social media post last week, executive producer Marlene King gave an actual glimpse into the show's updated title sequence late last night that drove fans into more speculations.
The newest peek is an instagram photo that was posted last night showing a back view of the liars standing in a line dressed head to toe in black.
They are wearing slippers - a hint that their feet will not be shown, according to TV Line.
The photo is captioned, "#TBT to the day we shot the new PLL opening title sequence with @itsashbenzo @lucyhale @sleepinthegardn @sashapieterse27 @shyam #Season6B #JanuaryPremiere #prettylittleliars #FiveYearsLater".
This had led to speculation that the girls will be standing behind another coffin, and has led to the question "whose casket it will be this time?"
The lineup includes Alison, which confirms that she did not die after all, so the death they are mourning is still very much a mystery.
Mystery has always abounded on "Pretty Little Liars," and in an interview with CBS News, Mitchell said that it was really a fun thing to act out her part.
Shay Mitchell (Emily Fields) also teases about the new season by saying that all the characters move ahead with their own life for five years, and then come back to Rosewood.
The biggest mystery according to Mitchell is the reason which will be bringing the girls back,
There are sure to be more teasers to come in the following months gearing up to the season 6B premiere in January, so fans are advised to stay tuned.
