The upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" game will not have switching weapons and it may come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016. While initially there were issues that the game was male dominated, increasing support from the female folk has changed this perspective.
With "Final Fantasy XV" still in development, Square Enix Director Hajime Tabata told Gematsu, "It's possible we'll have female characters join the party as guests... But since it's an all-male party, when you have a female character as a guest, their behavior might change because a woman is around."
According to Gamerant, in addition to the female participation in the game, another feature about the automatic switching of weapon in "Episode Duscae" has been officially removed from the final game. Previously, the automatic system allowed different combo attacks using varied weapons like Blood Sword, Wyvern Lance, and Avenger.
Without the conventional feature, gamers will be free to choose their own weapon and switch the same at any moment during the game, at their own free will, through a directional button on the controller.
The changes concerning weapon switching gives gamers more freedom and individual choice in their attacks without having to worry about inadvertent changes on weapons particularly during high-action attacks. In addition, players can also customize a particular weapon to utilize when they want to use counter and raid attacks under the customization button.
The change is promising and it is already receiving support from gamers as they expect the release of "Final Fantasy XV."
A preview on the plot of the game from "Final Fantasy XV" official website reveals that the Kingdom of Lucis will be signing a ceasefire for its continuous war with Niflheim. However, the purpose of making peace appear to have failed as the other party's response is nothing more than a bad intention.
"Final Fantasy XV" is slated to release in 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
