Selma and Petty to go "Puffless" all the way in the upcoming episode of "The Simpsons." The synopsis of the new episode reveals the cigarette loving duo would quit smoking after they learn the reason their father died.
"Selma and Patty agree to stop smoking when they learn their father died of lung cancer; when Selma relapses, Patty becomes angry and moves in with Homer and Marge," reads the synopsis.
In the previous episode of "The Simpsons" Season 27 titled "Cue Detective," Homer went out to get a new washer, however, call it fate, he moved from Exit 35 Appliances because of the smell from BBQ stand near the road.
There was a smoker that was crafted using a meteor and it was available on sale. Homer got it and Marge was all mad about it. But, Marge loved the food cooked in the smoker.
Later, Homer made BBQ for the town. A celebrity chef Scotty Boom noticed Homer and he challenged him for a BBQ challenge. But, Homer's smoker was gone after someone flicked it. He slipped into depression and Lisa and Bart decided to find the smoker.
