This new DLC will contain four new playable characters, a new environment, and also new skins for the game. It will definitely be available for the gamers within the first half of 2016.

According to Game Spot, "Kombat Pack 2" is loosely based on the original "Kombat Pack," but with new players and skins. The new characters are yet to be revealed. However, it is confirmed that MKX kicked off the character options of icons Tremor, Tanya, Predator, and Jason Vorhees.

Nether Realm Studio can still pick from a wide variety of characters. In order to not let the fans down, Ed Boon, who heads the Nether Realm Studio recently tweeted a shadowed picture of 4 new characters with a caption which says "Who's next?". With this tweet, he in evidently boosted up the hopes of the gamers, and urged them to apply their brains and guess the same.

Boon also posted a tweet, which threw up the possibility of Jurassic Park characters being included in the DLC.

There are many predications being made after this tweet went viral. One of the possibilities might be Baraka, who is a minor character in "Mortal Kombat X" story mode and includes many unique moves and animations. He is however a non-playable character in that game.

Next guess could be The Joker, as he is one of the favorites to be included as a DLC player. The third guess is for Cyrax, Sektor, or Smoke.

"Mortal Kombat X" was named as the best selling game of 2015 according to the US MPD, states The Design Trend.
