Sony announced on Oct. 10 that its holiday weekend sale will drop the price of five exclusive titles to $19.99. Included in the weekend sale is "InFamous: Second Son," "Killzone: Shadow Fall," "LittleBigPlanet 3," and "The Order 1886."
"InFamous: Second Son" is a PlayStation 4 exclusive title developed by Sucker Punch Productions. It is an open world video game released in March 2014. It is the fastest selling entry in the "InFamous" series racking up more than one million copies just nine days after it was released.
"Killzone: Shadow Fall" is a first-person shooter developed by Guerilla Games and released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 console. It is the sixth installment in the "Killzone" series. Released in November 2013, the game takes play 30 years after the events that happened on "Killzone 3." "Killzone: Shadow Fall" was able to sell more than 2.1 million copies as of January 2014 making it the first PlayStation 4 title to pass the million mark.
"LittleBigPlanet 3" is a puzzle platform game developed by Sumo Digital and was released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles. Released in November 2014, it the third main installment of the "LittleBigPlanet" franchise and sixth over game entry. The game is highly lauded for its graphics and gameplay but received negative criticism due to several technical glitches.
"The Order 1886" is a third-person video game developed by SCE Santa Monica Studio and Ready at Dawn. Released on Feb. 20, the game is a PlayStation 4 exclusive. The game follows the story of an order of knights set in an 1886 alternate history London. The game received a 6.5 rating from video game reviewer IGN.
According to Hardcore Gamer, users who spend at least $100 before Nov. 3 will receive a $15 PlayStation Network credit.
