She maybe Britain's longest-reigning monarch, but to Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth is just another "meddling grandmother" when it comes to his smoking habit.

His father, Prince Charles, is also against his youngest son's vice. The next-in-line to the British throne does not allow even his guests at Highgrove to smoke, and his wife, Camilla, had to go to the terrace to smoke after breakfast.

However, the Duchess of Cornwall recently kicked the habit after three decades of burning her lungs through the help of Mosaraf Ali, an alternative health guru. Her treatment includes yoga and retreats to the Himalayas.

She recently encouraged her stepson to visit the Ali, but Prince Harry apparently does not want to stop smoking. The prince started to smoke when he was 15 at Eton. He lights up 20 Marlboro lights daily and was photographed smoking at a Chelsea pub on his 31st birthday, reports Express.

In 2002, Prince Charles sent Prince Harry, then 17, to a London facility after he admitted to drinking and smoking marijuana in school.

The royal is ignoring the Queen's reminders that having a nicotine vice is bad to his health. However, Kdramastars reports that Prince Harry may stop smoking if his rumored girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, would marry him and ask the prince to stop the habit.

Express cites a palace source as saying "He does say that should his wife want him to stop smoking he would, and obviously he would never smoke around his children in the future." The two reportedly rekindled their romance when he visited her in South Africa. Prince Harry reportedly wants to propose to Chelsy.

However, in deference to the Queen's rules, Prince Harry does not light up on royal occasions, but smokes on private nights out.
