The Chinese theme song for the upcoming animated film "The Little Prince" has been released, and it is sung by Huang Bo, who does the voice for the Aviator in the film.
The upcoming film is an adaptation of the children's novella of the same name written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which was first published in 1943 in French as "Le Petit Prince." The novella is one of the most translated books in the world, having been translated into more than 250 languages.
Aside from Huang Bo, the voice cast of the Chinese-language version of the film also includes actors and actresses such as Huang Yici, Huang Lei, Hu Haiquan and Yu Yangqianxi, according to a report by China Entertainment News.
The film tells the story of a little girl who, with the help of her neighbor, the Aviator, is brought into a magical world, where the Aviator met the Little Prince.
This is one of many times the book has been adapted for the big screen. It has also been turned into a graphic novel, anime, opera, ballet, stage play and TV series, among others.
"The Little Prince" is directed by Mark Osborne, who also directed "Kung Fu Panda."
The French-language release of the film features the voices of Clara Poincaré, André Dussollier, Andrea Santamaria and Vincent Cassel, while the English-language version features Mackenzie Foy, Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Riley Osborne, Paul Rudd and James Franco. Both versions feature Marion Cotillard as the voice of the Rose.
Both the Chinese and English versions of the film will be released in China on Oct. 16, according to China Entertainment News.
