"Destiny" fans can expect two major events when playing Bungie's successful shooter title. These are the return of the Iron Banner and the availability of new emotes via Eververse Trading Co.
The first is the return of the Iron Banner. This fulfills Bungie's earlier promise, when the mode was taken away in preparation for The Taken King expansion. With the new Iron Banner, equipment now means a lot for players. Light Level and gears will now be count for more, and powerful guardians can easily beat out beginners.
Apart from this, Lord Saladin is also back with a slight change in mechanics for the Tower, Forbes reported. Guardians can now only use Legendary Marks to obtain gears, shaders and emblems. These are the features that allow players to get more and beat more when in PvP mode. "Destiny" Iron Banner will also bring in nine daily and three weekly bounties, each of which will yield Legendary Marks.
To join the Iron Banner, guardians will need to have around 230 Light Level. However, leading a fireteam will require a Guardian to be at level 40.
The newest feature in "Destiny," the Eververse Trading Company involving microtransactions, is also now in full swing. Bungie listed on the official website the different emotes that can be bought using the new Silver currency.
A lot of the emotes can be obtained with 200 Silver. These include Pumped Up, Safe, Swing, Blowing a Kiss, Booyah, Formal Bow and Bring It On. A second batch of emotes also brings more hilarious emotes like Victory Cheer, Come at Me, Congrats, Cower, Evil Scheme, Oh Please, Sorrow, Tantrum and Watch your Back. All of these are sold for 200 Silver.
There are two special emotes, which are priced higher at 500 Silver. These are Enthusiastic Dance and Slow Clap.
"Destiny" is also set to receive the 2.01 update, in preparation for the changes coming to the game. Bungie has already warned its players that the game will be taken down while updates are being made.
