Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are still legally married; thus, the reality TV star is in charge of making medical decisions for the welfare of the former basketball player as he lies in coma after being found unresponsive in a Las Vegas-area brothel on Oct. 13, Tuesday.
"He never signed a living will, so Khloé is making decisions for him," a source told People before further adding that it is "very stressful and she is lost."
Khloe, along with her sister Kim and mother Kris Jenner, is said to be constantly present at Odom's bedside and has already made several important medical decisions, TMZ reported. The reality TV star also arranged for his two children from his former lover to fly out of New York to be by his side.
The couple filed for divorce in December 2013 after Odom was caught up in infidelity and drug addiction scandal, but left the process halfway for more than a year in an effort to save their marriage. They finally signed the documents in July but due to the extreme backlog in the family court, the divorce is yet not finalized and the judge still needs to sign off the documents.
Khloe and Odom got famously married in 2009, a month after meeting and barely five days after announcing their engagement. The wedding was filmed extensively for a special episode of E!'s "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" after which the basketball player made several appearances on the hit reality TV show.
